A MEDICAL charity’s fun day was dampened by the poor weather.
Lives organised its first fun day at Grimsthorpe Castle on Sunday.
But the rain put off some visitors from turning out to look around the various stalls.
One of the attractions was a display by the Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue extraction team. Firefighters ripped apart two cars to demonstrate how they save people, assisted by Lives.
Attractions also included a zorb ball.
Lives office manager Paul Martin said that the response was disappointing.
He said: “We are optimistic for next year.
“We are hoping to make it bigger and better.”
