Website ranks top schools in the Bourne area

Billingborough Primary School has been named the best in the area according to an online ratings website.

Many parents in the Bourne area are currently choosing schools for the children to start in September 2016. The website - www.schoolsguide.co.uk - has rated all the primary schools in the area according to key performance data including exam results, Ofsted reports, value added score and pupil to teacher ratio.

Parents are also able to write a review of their child’s school and compare against others locally with a maximum five star rating.

The top primary schools in the area according to the website are:

1 Billingborough Primary School 5*

2 Bourne Abbey Primary Academy 5*

3 Bourne Westfield Primary Academy 5*

4 Brown’s Primary School, Horbling 4*

5 Edenham Primary School 4*

6 Langtoft Primary School 4*

7 Bythams Primary School 4*

8 Baston Primary School 4*

9 Spalding Monkhouse Primary School 4*

10 St Gilbert of Sempringham Primary School, Pointon 4*

11 Corby Glen Community Primary School 4*

12 St Bartholomew’s Primary School, West Pinchbeck 4*

13 Clough and Risegate Community Primary School, Gosberton Clough 4*

14 Thurlby Community Primary School 4*

15 Morton Primary School 2*

Witham Hall School, Kirkstone House, The Willoughby School, Bourne Elsea Park Primary Academy and Ongoldsby Wood Acadaemy were not rated.
