The wedding of Alice Dawtrey and Richard Lee took place at St John the Evangelist Church, Caldecott, on October 17.

The service was conducted by the Rev Jane Baxter with prayers being said by Robin Robson, who have both known the bride for many years. The service was followed by a reception held at Barnsdale Lodge.

The bride, the second daughter of John and Catherine Dawtrey wore an ivory dress with lace detail and a floral hair crown of Autumnal colours made by Pollen Florist in Oakham. Her bridesmaids were her sister Emma Campbell and friend Joanna Price.

The groom, the fourth son of Derrick and Margaret Lee, had Brett Peterson as best man, with brothers Paul, Stephen and Gary Lee as his ushers.

The bride grew up in Caldecott village and was a regular organist for the church throughout her teenage years.

The couple met through working together. They will honeymoon in the Dominican Republic.
