Owners of Orbis and the Wheatsheaf in Oakham 'frustrated' by Government's last-minute tier 3 decision for Rutland

Pubs and restaurants in Rutland have been forced to close again as the county moved to tier 3 Covid restrictions.

The tier 3 rules, which came into place on New Year's Eve, meant that all pubs and bars had to close in Rutland unless operating a takeaway service.

Jonathan Spencer, owner of Orbis in Oakham, believes that most businesses in the town were fully booked for New Year's Eve with customers wanting to celebrate the end of 2020.
