Parents and special guests packed into Stamford Corn Exchange on Thursday last week for a showcase by more than 70 students from Wildcats Post 16 Academy.

The students performed a number of group and solo dance and musical theatre pieces for the audience, which included Stamford mayor Sue Sandall, New College Stamford representatives and resident George Mackie who supported the Wildcats with the new building in Broad Street, Stamford, although the academy takes pupils from across Bourne and Rutland as well.

Wildcats owner Caz Dolby said: “The showcase is a great event which we hold each year to showcase the first half term’s work.”
