Stamford Showstoppers is bringing a musical to the stage which has never been seen before and you could be part of the audience.

Sparkling Eyes was written during lockdown by a group of Peterborough-based musicians.

They approached Showstoppers’ director Nicola Sandall with the script who jumped at the chance to bring the story to life.

Set in the 1920s, it follows three sisters who inherit a necklace from their ballerina mother which may or may not have been a gift from a Russian Tsar.

The siblings are unsure of its value and origin, but each has their own ideas about what to do with the jewellery if it proves to be valuable.

The financial crash has left the eldest sister living in poverty, the youngest dealing with an unreliable boyfriend and the third sister stuck in the middle.
