Have your say

A competition is being run to win a year’s free sponsorship of a rare pedigree calf.

Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust wants to find a name for their new arrival, an endangered female Shetland calf who was born in May to her six-year-old mum, Teasel.

The other Shetlands are named on a wild flower theme.

The best suggestion will win a year’s free sponsorship of the calf or as a gift for someone else. The winner will receive a welcome pack, cow key-ring, sponsorship certificate and regular updates on their calf.

Suggestions should be e-mailed to by the closing date of December 7.
