Wind in the Willows brought to life at the Deepings Community Library

Ratty, Toad and Mole were on hand at the Deepings Community Library as the Wind in the Willows took centre stage at their weekend family storytime on Saturday.

Louisa Crowson, library manager, said: “We had a lot of people here - over 300 throughout the day and also the guys and girls from the Peterborough Revellers who just acted out a couple songs and scenes from their show of the Wind in the Willows.

“It’s just something we do offer once a month and it’s nice to give families the opportunity to use the library as a family which they can’t all do during the week.

“We’re adding to the junior library all the time and we’ve now got a new dressing up rail.”
