Four pupils from Witham Hall School went to visit the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance at RAF Waddington to present their donation of £4,000.

The total raised from various events at the school was £6,339 with the rest of the money going to the Nottingham Helipad appeal to enable the air ambulance to land at the hospital.

The pupils enjoyed a wonderful tour from the staff at Lincoln from looking around the control room, seeing just what a large area they cover with the huge map on the wall, before witnessing them in action having to quickly leave for a road traffic accident.
