Appeal for witnesses after teenager hit by car in Bourne

Police have launched a witness appeal after a 13-year-old boy was hit by a car in Bourne while crossing the road.

The incident happened on Tuesday, October 9 in Eagle Road, Bourne, at around 8.30am.

The driver of the car, which was silver and may have been a Ford, did stop at the scene but he did not get out of his vehicle or leave his details.

The teenager received minor injuries.

Police say they are specifically appealing for the driver of the vehicle to contact them and also, anyone else who witnessed the incident.
