Witness appeal after thefts in Stamford and Market Deeping

Police have issued witness appeals after several crimes around the area.

A set of number plates were taken from one vehicle and a taxi sign from another in Jackson Way, Stamford, on Tuesday. Call 101 quoting incident 62 of June 2 with information.

Number plates were taken from two vehicles in Melrose Close, Stamford, between Sunday and Tuesday. Incidents 139 of June 1 and 204 of June 2.

A home in Kingsgate, Market Deeping, was burgled between midnight on Monday and 6am on Tuesday. Police have not said what was stolen. Incident 36 of June 2.

And the door to a home in Baroness Way, Market Deeping, was found open at about 3.15am on Tuesday. Incident 185 of June 2. A police spokesman said: “Please double check your doors are locked at all times to prevent opportunist burglars from entering your property.”
