Woman charged with attempted murder following Thurlby stabbing




A 62 year-old woman has been charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed at a house in Thurlby on Wednesday (May 29) evening.

Police were called to a house in Obthorpe Lane at around 9.10pm following a report a man had received a stab wound.

The man was taken to Peterborough City Hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries and remains stable in hospital.

Susan Wheeler, of The Causeway, Thurlby, was arrested in connection with the incident and subsequently charged.

She is due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates' Court this morning (May 31).
