Play equipment at Rutland Heights in Stamford will be upgraded next week thanks to the fundraising efforts of the Heights of Play Scheme committee

Work to install new playground equipment on the Rutland Heights estate in Stamford will begin next week.

The Heights of Play Scheme committee launched a £50,000 appeal in May last year to purchase equipment for the site which is owned by South Kesteven District Council.

By March this year they had raised £45,000 but were forced to abandon future fundraising events because of the pandemic.
