Lincolnshire County Council has developed a plan to manage outbreaks of Covid-19 locally
Now that we’re working towards more local management of Covid-19 cases, the county council as the lead public health authority, has developed a local outbreak management plan, writes Lincolnshire County Council leader Martin Hill (Con).
Lincolnshire has so far seen a relatively low transmission of the disease and has a well-established health protection system that has helped save lives.
Working with key partners, we now have a local plan to contain the virus going forward and reduce its spread, supported by the national ‘NHS Test and Trace’ programme.
