Harry Potter Day draws in the Muggles to Deepings Library

Hundreds of wizard fans flew in to Deepings Community Library on Saturday (February 8) to enjoy the magic of a Harry Potter day.

'Muggles' were queueing up at the door ready for the event to begin, and soon after 10am the fun was under way with a sorting hat ceremony, broomstick lessons, cakes and crafts.

Thirteen-year-old Grace Munton-Hague was just one of the volunteers helping to make the day special for visitors. She played Harry Potter character Fleur Delacour, offering choreography lessons, speaking in a French accent throughout.
