Martin Bond has joined the new-look management team at UCL Premier Division outfit Deeping Rangers.

He has been first-team coach for the past three years with Tuncay Korkmaz who stepped down at the end of last season due to work commitments.

New boss Michael Goode said: “Martin is highly regarded by Tunch and therefore Jack Marsden (assistant-manager) and myself are very happy that he is joining the team.

“We are looking forward to working together – it also means there is some continuity from the last seasons with Martin and the players.”

Experienced quartet Daniel Bircham, Spencer Tinkler, David Burton-Jones and Daniel Flack have all committed to the club for next season.

Deeping-based trio Matt Porter, Luke Avis and Luke Hunnings have agreed to join from Goode’s former club Peterborough Northern Star.
