Heavy rain caused all the cricket fixtures on Saturday to be cancelled and most of them on Sunday and by the end of the match Bourne 2nds must have wished their Rutland League Division Four match had gone the same way.

They were beaten by a massive 246 runs by Isham.

Isham opened the batting and made 292-4.

Opener Deam Adam was immovable and finished with 122 not out.

Elliott James added 94 to the homeside’s total.

In sharp contrast not a single Bourne batsman got into double figures.

Top scorer for Bourne 2nds was extras with 11, top human scorer was James Gunthorp with eight.

Adam took 4-8 to add to his impressive century.
