Brilliant Birch stars for Stamford; Andrews and Anderson in fine form for Deeping
Bourne 2nds saw their unbeaten start to the new South Lincs and Border League Premier Division season ended on Saturday.
After five successive league victories, they went down to a four-wicket defeat against newly-promoted Graves Park at the Abbey Lawn.
Bourne had been bowled out for 164 with James Tickler (38), Richard Hewitt (33) and Ben Woodward (22) their top scorers.
However, an unbeaten half-century from Chris King guided the visitors home despite Adam Hilless collecting a couple of wickets for Bourne.
Billingborough are bottom of the Premier Division table after a heavy 128-run away defeat at Sleaford 2nds on Saturday.
Charlie Roberts thumped 15 fours in his 107 off 95 deliveries as Sleaford stormed to 318-7 off their 45 overs.
Dave Newman also made 70 against his former club while Patrick Hobson - who shared in a century partnership with Roberts for the third wicket - hit 52 and Oliver Bean was unbeaten on 44 at the close.
Jed Humphries was the pick of the Billingborough bowling with 4-81 from his 11 overs.
Aaron Pullum (48) and Ellie Stanley (29) got the Billingborough reply off to a solid start by putting on 74 runs for the first wicket.
Jonathan Parrish (26) then helped them past century mark before Richard Wells whacked eight fours in his 40 as the visitors closed their 45 overs on 190-8.
Chris Birch was in brilliant form for Stamford 2nds to inspire their 97-run success at Heckington in Division One.
Birch bagged a sensational 6-11 from 7.1 overs while Richard Field claimed 4-13 from just three overs as Heckington were bowled out for 55.
That was in pursuit of Stamford's 152 all out with skipper Liam Dave their chief contributor after making 27.
Birch also added 19 runs lower down the order to kick-start his man-of-the-match performance.
Nick Andrews and Tom Anderson both claimed four wickets apiece as Market Deeping 2nds blitzed Baston in their Division One derby.
Anderson took 4-14 from 11 overs and Andrews claimed 4-17 from a 9.5-over spell as Baston were bowled out for 66.
Anthony Morris (19), Ben Hudson (13) and James Rolfe (13) were the top scoring Baston batsmen.
Deeping needed just 19 overs to reach the required target as Ryan Bainborough (20), Richard Witt (13) and Ross Barnes (27no) led their victory charge.
Ivan Wilson was in superb form for Uffington as they defeated Spalding 3rds in a high-scoring Division Two tussle.
Wilson was unbeaten on 149 not out at the close as Uffington successfully chased down’s Spalding target of 265-5.
He was given strong support by Alistair Pike (48) and Simon Larter (45no) as Uffington secured their success with an over to spare.
Pike had earlier picked up a couple of wickets in the home side’s innings which saw Carl Andrews (62) and James Laud (66) top score for Spalding.
Billingborough 2nds suffered a similar fate to their first team after being on the receiving end of a run blitz at Skegness 2nds in Division Two.
Sam Harris hit 166 for the seasiders with Pete Blackmore blasting 66 as they amassed 320-5 from their 45 overs.
Ben Stanley and Donald Rose both took two wickets for Billingborough who were then dismissed for 100 in their reply with Riley Pickwell the top scorer with 13.
