Bourne Ladies won their big derby game with Stamford 3-2 in a thrilling game of football in the S-Tech Women’s Championship North Division at the Recreation Ground on Sunday.

Bourne scored goals through Kim Fairweather, Claire Lawrenson and Becca Burton to secure the victory.

Rebecca Corby and Tracey Duxverry-Mead found the back of the net for the visiting team.

Bounre Ladies are currently second in their division, one place and one point behind A15 derby rivals Deeping Diamonds, however the leaders still have two games in hand.

Next up on Sunday is the S-Tech league cup semi-final against Huntingdon, at Fulbourn near Cambridge.
