Bourne secure fourth straight win

Bourne Town recorded a fourth successive win in the UCL Division One last night (Tuesday) by beating Thrapston Town 4-1 at the Abbey Lawn.

The Wakes are in a rich vein of form having scored 14 goals in the last four games while conceding just four.

The latest victory moves Bourne up to 10th in the UCL Division One.

On Tuesday the Wakes went 2-0 up before the break through Henry Dunn and Josh Hales but Jack Wisniewski pulled one back for the Northamptonshire side.

Hales’ second goal of the night kept Bourne in control and the victory was sealed by Harley Williams.

Bourne: Fagan, Moore-Papworth, Deykin, Moss, Jesson, Dunn, Placis, Williams, Hales, Sculthorpe, De Sousa.
