The event, a match between teams from Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Norfolk and Northamptonshire, took place at the Royal Hospital School, Ipswich on Saturday, February 9.

As befitting the prestigious nature of the event the races took place over a series of demanding courses in spectacular surroundings overlooking the River Stour.

Molly Peel and Elin James competed in the first race of the day for minor girls. Molly finished in a fantastic 8th place with Elin following her in a respectable 24th.

The third Harrier to run was Scott Taylor who competed in the intermediate boys’ race. In a very high quality race, Scott finished in a very commendable 48th position.
