Bourne Town Red Under 18s lead the flurry of goals in the Peterborough Youth League




Nathan Bills blasted a sensational seven-goal haul as Bourne Town Red Under 18s hit double figures in Sunday's Peterborough Youth Cup clash.

Bills' bonanza helped the Wakes to an 11-0 away win at Colsterworth Colts with William Hawkins also hitting a hat-trick and Tom Cameron on target in the crushing win.

Their Claret club-mates went down to an 8-0 reversal at Moulton Harrox Blue while Finlay Henderson's goal helped Deeping United secure a share of the spoils in a 1-1 home draw with Stamford Young Daniels Yellow who scored through Tyler Savage.

The Young Daniels' Red team ran out 2-0 home winners over Pinchbeck United Sports thanks to a double strike from Taylor Gilbert.

Glinton and Northborough Amber were edged out by Riverside Rovers at the same age group with James Smith scoring the Spartans' goal in a 2-1 defeat.

There was an all Glinton clash in the Under 16 cup competition where the Black team ran out 4-2 winners against the Navy side.

Jayden Holman hit a brace for the victors with Joshua Hill and Jack Hutchings also netting. Rocco Tompsett and Thomas Wright replied for the Navy team.

The Spartans' Amber side were 5-2 winners at Pinchbeck United Sports courtesy of goals from Finlay Hopkins (2), Liam Bedford, Aidan McMurray and George Hill.

Goals from Sam James, Indianna Palmer and Andrew Tafeni secured a 3-0 away win for Stamford Young Daniels Red in their trip to Oundle Town.

Bourne Town Red returned from their trip to Holbeach United Yellow with a point after a 0-0 draw.

Stamford Young Daniels had mixed fortunes in the Under 15 competition as their Red team maintained their unbeaten start with a 2-0 home win over Whittlesey Blue thanks to a Jacob Poxon double.

However, the White team failed to recovered after conceding five goals in the opening half of their match at Thurlby Tigers.

William Hartley bagged a brace for Thurlby with Archie Ward, Ollie Grice and Lyndon Sysum also on scoring in the 5-1 success.

Deeping Rangers ran out 4-1 winners at March Academy Blue as Harry Rippon, Beau Baines, Charlie Brooks and Luke Woodhouse were on target for the Clarets who have taken four points from their opening two games.

Max Goring netted for Bourne Town Red in their 3-1 defeat at home to Holbeach United Black while Glinton and Northborough Navy were emphatic 10-1 winners against Boston United Community.

Ethan Ketteringham cracked a superb double hat-trick for the Spartans with Lewis Collins, Max Howe and Archie Smith (2) also on target.
