Unbeaten Ufford Park are setting the pace at the top of the Cambs League Division Two.

They recorded a third successive victory following a convincing nine-wicket win away at Great Shelford on Saturday.

A fine all-round bowling display helped dismiss Shelford for 138 with all the wickets being shared out by the Ufford attack.

Wahid Javed claimed 3-18 from nine overs while Paul Bentley bagged 2-20 from his 4.4 overs.

Joe Harrington, Sandeep Dahiya, Amir Munir and Ibrahim Javed all took one apiece as Shelford slumped from 53-2 to 138 all out.

Skipper Ross Keymer and Andy Larkin then led the Ufford reply as they cruised to victory in 26 overs.

Keymer cracked 12 fours in an unbeaten 70 while Larkin found the boundary five times in his 30 not out.

Stamford Town are settling in well following last season's promotion as they recorded a second successive victory with an eight-wicket win at Southill Park.

They restricted their hosts to 176-8 from their 50 overs as Richard Field claimed 4-28 from seven overs.

Stamford then patiently set about their reply with opener Andrew Hulme hitting 64 to lay the foundations for victory.

Simon Lem cracked an unbeaten 51 while skipper Tom Williams was also 12 not out at the close as Town reached their target with more than nine overs to spare.
