Defender Lewis Carr has switched Stamford AFC for Evo-Stik Northern Premier League rivals Grantham Town.

The defender, who can play across the backline and has been a regular fixture for the Daniels since joining the club in January 2014, has played more than 90 times for the club.

A statement on the Daniels’ website said: “We would like to thank Lewis for his time with the club and wish him every success for the future.”
