Bourne Cricket Club were among the trophies at the ECB Lincolnshire Premier League presentation night at Hemswell Court.

As well as picking up the Winkworth Cup for their success in the T20 competition, Bourne skipper Pete Morgan also received the Stephen Bradford Fair Play Trophy.

Sports journalist and broadcaster John Inverdale, who started his career in Lincolnshire and currently anchors the Six Nations rugby for the BBC, presented the awards before entertaining the cream of the county’s cricketers.

Inverdale spoke fondly of his time in the county and fielded a number of probing questions from a captive audience during an entertaining performance.

League champions Bracebridge Heath collected their trophy, while Bourne received the Winkworth Cup after their success in the T20 competition. Bourne beat Lindum by 11 runs in one of the competition’s best ever finals.
