Oakham remain on track for promotion from the Leicestershire League Division Two thanks to a six wicket win over Egerton Park on Saturday.

Home side Egerton had no answer to the brilliance of Albert Radford, who took four wickets for just 16 runs and then struck 33 runs with the bat.

His bowling efforts, along with 3-34 from Sean Cowley and one a piece from Charlie Baker and Ben Southern saw the Park side all out for 115.

Radford and Cameron Flowers (54) got Oakham off to a brilliant start and Will Bell (14 not out) and Baker (8 not out) got them over the line for 121-4. Oakham 2nds played out a losing draw at home to Market Harborough, finishing on 205-9 while Harborough made 233-3 first up to bat.
