Stamford AFC manager Graham Drury looks at his recruitment drive for the new Northern Premier League South East Division season




Manager Graham Drury is building from the back after starting to lay the foundations of his Stamford squad for next season's championship charge.

The Daniels boss has so far re-signed six players from last season's squad and also brought two familiar faces - Joe Burgess and Jack McGovern - back to the club.

The returning contingent provided the backbone of last season's side which was sitting in second spot in the Northern Premier League South East Division when the Covid-19 outbreak ended their campaign.
