Prolific hitman Hicks and former Mansfield player Danquah make it a dozen summer signings
Stamford manager Graham Drury feels his new-look squad has the right blend after adding two more players to his ranks this week.
Prolific striker James Hicks has joined the Daniels from United Counties League Division One side Anstey Nomads while Stamford have swooped to land Louis Danquah following his release by League Two side Mansfield Town.
Hicks hit 41 goals in 34 appearances for Anstey last season as they secured promotion to the UCL Premier Division.
Drury commented: "He's a good signing. He's a great size and knows where the net is as well.
"He's got a big frame and is hard to knock off the ball.
"He wants to make the step up and prove himself. He had been training with Coalville as well and they were interested in him, but he felt this was the right step for him to make.
"I'm really chuffed to get him. Both him and Tom Siddons are real units while the likes of Liam Adams and Ollie Brown-Hill offer us pace and trickery.
"We're getting a fine blend and I'm pretty pleased so far."
Danquah has also featured in the Northern Premier League for Gresley, Carlton and Belper and Drury has been impressed by the left-sided youngster in pre-season.
He added: "Louis has got experience of this level and has shown a real high energy in training. He's a really fit kid who has done ever so well on the pre-season fitness side of things."
Stamford play their first pre-season friendly on Wednesday night when League One side Peterborough United are the visitors to the Zeeco Stadium (kick-off 7.30pm).
