Stamford AFC striker Ryan Robbins scored his first international goal on Thursday night as St Kitts and Nevis booked their place in the second round of World Cup qualifying.

Robbins came off the bench in the second half and struck the final goal of a 6-2 win in the 73rd minute.

Scoring on the night was a family affair with Robbins’ cousin Harry Panayiotou scoring his first international hat-trick. The other St Kitts goals were scored by Joash Leader while the hosts, Turks and Caicos, scored two penalties through Wildin Calixte.

St Kitts won the two legged tie 12-4 on aggregate after also winning 6-2 in the home leg on Monday last week when Robbins made his international debut.

The victory means St Kitts will now play El Salvador in the next round of qualifying as the small Caribbean island nation look to reach Russia 2018.

Robbins is now back in the UK but will not be available to play for the Daniels against Ashton United on Saturday because he is serving a ban for a red card.
