Stamford AFC to entertain Boston United in FA Cup clash




Stamford AFC will host National League North side Boston United in the second qualifying round of the FA Cup.

The match against manager Graham Drury's former club will take place at the Zeeco Stadium on Saturday, September 21.

Stamford, who are in league action at home to Carlton Town on Tuesday night, secured their place in the second qualifying round after a 1-0 home win over Witham Town on Saturday.

They played Boston in pre-season with the Pilgrims running out 3-0 winners in the Lincolnshire Senior Cup clash at the Jakemans Stadium.

Deeping Rangers travel to AFC Sudbury on Tuesday night to replay their first qualifying round match.

The winners will travel to Southern League Premier Division South side Hendon in the next round.
