Deeping Rangers led twice but had to settle for a point at home to Wisbech Town on Tuesday night.

The Fenmen fought back to level and extend their unbeaten run to four games in the ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League’s Premier Division.

Deeping took a fourth-minute lead through Scott Mooney but Wisbech were level 10 minutes later when keeper Danny Bircham was unable to keep out a Rob Hughes free-kick.

A great team goal rounded off by Scott Coupland’s finish had Rangers back in the lead after 33 minutes.

However, a strong second-half display by the Fenmen was rewarded by Steven Reid’s long-range strike after 73 minutes.

Deeping are at home to Northampton Spencer on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Holbeach United head to Kirby Muxloe in the UCL Knockout Cup.

The winners will have a home tie in the quarter-finals.

The Tigers are also in action at home to Boston Town on Wednesday night.

Bourne Town will go to Rushden & Higham United in Division One on Saturday.
