Rutland League cricket round-up
Barnack have been crowned Rutland League champions.
They lifted the Division One title after an emphatic 119-run win at Werrington on Sunday which maintained their unbeaten campaign.
They made 245-7 after batting first with Mohammed Raheel (64), Asim Butt (44) and Tahseen Ahmed (39) their chief contributors.
Werrington were bowled out for 126 in reply as as Tanveer Hussain took 4-16 from five overs for the newly-crowned champions.
Burghley Park were beaten by 36 runs against second-placed City.
Their Peterborough visitors had made 217 after batting first with Sam Potter and Gareth Hook both taking three wickets for Burghley Park.
They were then dismissed for 181 in reply despite Sam Potter making a half-century and brother Ben adding 35.
Uppingham conceded their match at Wisbech while Ufford Park's narrow defeat against Newborough in Division Two saw Long Sutton crowned champions.
Mo Shabir had taken 3-40 as Newborough made 237-8 after batting first with Ufford's reply falling five runs short.
Matt Smith struck 39 while Zahid Nadeem was unbeaten on 60 at the close as Ufford were bowled out for 232.
Ketton Sports secured a narrow two-wicket win at Whittlesey.
Adam Renton returned 3-20 from nine overs as Whittlesey were bowled oout for 170.
Daniel Hughes then hit 67 and skipper Mat Bird made 48 as Sports secured the win in the 35th over.
Stamford maintained their grip on pole position in Division Three after a 98-run home win over Hampton.
Ben Peck (66) and Liam Dave (45) led the Stamford scoring as they posted 260-7 from their 45 overs after batting first.
Arbas Nawaz then took 6-47 while Jacob Hewitt picked up 3-32 as Hampton were bowled out for 162 in reply.
City 2nds are Stamford's closest challengers for the title and they beat Bourne by 10 wickets on Sunday.
Corey Young made 42 and Ben Sacker struck 23 as Bourne were bowled out for 129 which City passed inside 17 overs and without losing a wicket.
Uffington 2nds remain in the bottom two after a 19-run away reversal at Castor.
Theo Saralis had taken 4-38 and Dean Cornish claimed 3-18 as Castor were bowled out for 165.
However, Uffington just fell short in their reply on 146 despite James Saralis scoring 61 and Harry Bentley making 45.
Ufford Park 2nds were dismissed for 66 in their seven-wicket loss against Orton Park in Division Four East.
Nick Farrer top-scored with 24 while Jan Neville took two of the three Orton wickets to fall.
