ENGLAND’S Over 60s beat their Australian counterparts by 14 runs when the two sides met at Abbey Lawn on Friday.

The match was second of two planned by the tourists, with their match at Oakham cancelled earlier in the week because of rain.

England batted first and made 186-7. They then limited the
Aussies to 174-5.

Market Deeping’s Nick Andrews was a late call up for England team and named man-of-the-match. He made 30 with the bat and then took 2 for 21 off 10 overs.
