Holden and Hogg are back with the Daniels for coming campaign
Two familiar faces will be returning to the Daniels to bolster their backroom team for the Northern Premier League South East Division season.
Paul Holden and Michael Hogg are both making a welcome return to the Zeeco Stadium to be part of boss Graham Drury’s management team.
Holden will be Drury’s assistant, alongside Jon Challinor, while also heading up Stamford’s coaching team, with Alex Cross, while Hogg will be returning to his goalkeeper coaching role which he was forced to relinquish last season due to work and family commitments.
Holden worked alongside both Drury and David Staff in previous Stamford stints and the Daniels manager was delighted to have the duo back on board.
He said: “I am really pleased to have Paul and Hoggy back with us.
“Paul has a fantastic knowledge of the game and I’m chuffed to be working with him again. He’s like my left arm.
“He will put on a wide variety of training sessions which will really get the players buoyant.
“Hoggy works really well with Dan Haystead who becomes an even better keeper when he’s around him.
“It was a real loss when he had to leave us last season, but he’s able to fully commit again now and I’m really chuffed to have him back.”
Stamford’s league opponents for next season were confirmed at the Northern Premier League annual meeting last weekend.
