Stamford Indoor Bowls Club gets ready to reopen for first time since coronavirus pandemic

After five months of closure because of the Covid-19 pandemic, Stamford Indoor Bowls Club will reopen for a month-long trial period on Monday, August 17.
All bowlers must pre-book and wear a face covering and, because of the need for social distancing, only 30 players can be accommodated for four weeks of twice-a-day midweek sessions at 10am and 6.30pm. Up to six spectators will be allowed for each session as long as they also wear a mask.
It is hoped that some national and Lincs IBA county competitions can start from September 14 together with a scaled down domestic league programme over three sessions a day.
