Peterborough League clubs Deeping United and King's Cliffe are aiming to raise money for charity

Two football clubs have kicked off fundraising drives to help net a vital cash boost for charity.

Deeping United and King’s Cliffe – who both play in the Peterborough League – have launched online JustGiving campaigns aimed at raising funds.

Cliffe are raising money for the Sick Children’s Trust to help player Jorge Barbosa and are already more than three-quarters of the way towards their £2,000 target.
