Striker Douglas signs for Clarets from St Neots

One-time Peterborough United protege Kasey Douglas has signed for Deeping Rangers.

Douglas was the fifth youngest debutant in Posh's Football League history when - as a 16-year-old - he appeared as a substitute two seasons ago in their Checkatrade Trophy tie at Barnet.

The striker has joined the Clarets from Southern League Premier Division Central side St Neots and travelled with the squad for Saturday's United Counties League Premier Division victory over Boston Town.

Rangers boss Michael Goode commented: "Kasey will be a useful addition. He can play up front, through the middle or either side. It will give Scott Mooney a little bit more support."

Former Deeping Rangers youngster Cameron Baldock-Smith, who came through the youth ranks at Outgang Road, is also expected to join the Clarets over the festive period on work experience from League One side Doncaster Rovers.
