Baston have three games to secure promotion from division three of the Peterborough and District League.

The matches come thick and fast with a trip to play Long Sutton Reserves tomorrow, followed by a home match against Netherton United A on Tuesday evening.

Baston are second with a goal difference just one less than leaders Coates who have playd one game less. But both teams will have an eye on Whittlesey United Reserves who are one point behind with a handful of games in hand.

In division five, Baston’s reserves are second after back-to-back wins this week.

They beat Tydd St Mary 2-1 on Saturday, with goals from Ben Hudson and Simon Ward, and then beat champions elect Peterborough Sport Parkway A 1-0 on Tuesday thanks to a strike from Dan Holduo.
