DEEPING Rangers returned to winning ways with a 1-0 victory at Long Bucky this afternoon.

Harry Deane scored the only goal of the game at Buckby, where Rangers ended a run of three defeats in league and cup this afternoon.

The win keeps Rangers just four points behind leaders St Ives but second-placed Holbeach United look the real United Counties League pace-setters, making it six wins from six premier division matches with a 2-0 victory at Quorn this afternoon.

Rangers' next match is at Boston Town on Tuesday evening.

THERE was no joy for Bourne who were beaten 2-1 by Burton Park Wanderers at the Abbey Lawn this afternoon.

The defeat extends Bourne' unwanted losing run to four games without a point and they now sit 14th in the UCL first division and host Olney Town at the Abbey Lawn on Saturday.
