KING’S Cliffe beat Pinchbeck United yesterday evening to win the Jack Hogg Charity Shield.

The match was played at Peterborough’s Chestnut Avenue where Cliffe fought back after conceding a first half penalty.

Matt Cox and Matt Farrington were on target for Cliffe, whose league campaign begins with a trip to Moulton Harrox on Saturday.
