Irchester United 1 - 3 Blackstones

THREE first half goals ensured that Blackstones picked up three points from their opening game of the league season.

Stones led Irchester 3-1 at the break thanks to an own goal and two Michael Nelson strikes, and the score remained that way throughout the second 45 this afternoon.

Stones face Peterborough Northern Star, who beat Wellingborough Town 4-2 today, at Lincoln Road on Wednesday evening.

Quorn 1 - 1 Deeping Rangers

Rangers were held to a draw at Quorn where Michael Byrne gave Deeping a first half lead.

Quorn were reduced to men after the dismissal of their keeper but fought back for a share of the spoils on the first day of the UCL season.
