Ketton fought back from being a goal down to draw 1-1 with Stilton United on Saturday in the PDFL Premier Division.
Ketton, who were missing top goalscorer Alex Brockbank through suspension, had a terrible start to the game when they conceded a goal to Zack Fisher after just five minutes.
However the Rutland side equalised around the half hour mark when a deep cross from the right hand side was headed home by Oderson Wason and that was how it stayed.
Ketton manager Rob Ward said: “We walked away with a point from our game against Stilton when it really should have been three.
“It’s a result that we will take but know that going forward we want more from games like that, we must be clinical and take our chances.”
“Stilton started really lively and caught us out early on scoring within the first five minutes which really put us on the back foot.
“We responded well and were fighting back within a few minutes of going down.
“The game was split into spells where each team had the upper hand, but neither side could make the most of their spells and indeed chances. I was really pleased with how solid we looked defensively in the game with our back four working really well together.”
“We also looked good going forward when we did it with pace but the sticky pitch and wind made that hard to do so at times.”
Ketton sit ninth in the league at Christmas, they play Langtoft next on January 2.
