Deeping Rangers have signed former Daniels defender Matty Evans from Spalding, their fourth signing of the season.
He joins Tony Battersby, Adam Weston and Nick Conroy. Evans and Battersby both played for Stamford last year.
Rangers boss Tuncay Korkmaz admits it has been tough to sign all of his targets this summer, but is happy with his captures so far.
He said: “I’ve seen Evans play for Spalding and Stamford in the past and he’s a player I like.
“He’s comfortable in a number of positions, so will be a welcome addition.”
All four should be in action in Deeping’s first pre-season fixture of the summer at Ridgeons League Mildenhall on July 16.
Rangers then travel to Ely City on July 23, before home clashes with Grantham Town (July 28), Soham Town (August 2) and Lincoln United (August 6). Korkmaz is still looking to arrange one more friendly date.
