“There is a big challenge ahead with the new stadium on the horizon but it is an exciting one.
“I would like to thank the board for providing me with this opportunity. This is the right club for me at the right time and I cannot wait to get started properly and add to the good work that the board have in progress at the present time.
“They have done an excellent job in a difficult economic climate to consistently turn a profit over the last few seasons and they should be congratulated for that.
“It has set up a fantastic chance for the club to grow and I am really looking forward to contributing to the development of the club for future generations to enjoy.”
