BRUNO Holden and Nick Ghislanzoni both scored on their Daniels debut as Stamford beat Quorn 3-2 on Saturday.
The two strikers gave Stamford a 2-0 lead, scoring in the 11th and 17th minutes.
David Staff added a third before half-time and it proved crucial as former Stamford man Chris Gray and then Bradley Munn reduced the arrears.
The victory lifts Stamford to second in the Evo-Stik First Division South, level on points with the leaders Ilkeston and with a game in hand.
Stamford’s next match is a league game at Belper on Saturday. Kick off is at 3pm.
