STAMFORD were knocked out of the FA Cup by local rivals Grantham Town on Saturday.

The Daniels lost 1-0, courtesy of a first half goal from Gio Carchedi.

Both sides were reduced to 10 men with Robbie Maddox seeing red for Stamford.

Deeping Rangers are now the area’s sole representattive in the FA Cup after seeing off Belper Town at Outgang Road on Saturday.

Matt Heron scored early for Rangers and Matt Evens had the perfect response to Ben Spargo’s leveller for Belper, restoring Rangers’ lead three minutes later.

Blackstones beat Stewarts and Lloyds Corby 1-0 away in the United Counties League’s Premier Division. Ben Porter’s 10th minute goal was enough to seal the points for the Stamford side.
