Ollie Bowling ran 1st leg for the U13 boys, passing on to Bradley Allan who gained one place before handing over to Lucas Fidler who had a solid run for the team to finish in 54th from 90 starters.

Continuous rain made the course more difficult by the time Amy Gibbons set of on the first leg of the U15 girls. Amy ran 8.33 which was an improvement on last year despite the conditions and the team finished 60th out of 113.

Nene Valley’s best team result of the day came in the U15 boys where three local boys combined to finish a first class 17th from 96 starters. Billy Mugnier ran the first leg in 7.14, Alex Hampson set off in 30th and moved up 13 places, also running 7.14, before passing to James Macrae who ran a very strong leg to hold on to 17th with a time of 7.19.
