Market Deeping and King’s Keys face-off in Stamford KO Shield

An unsuccessful appeal this time as Market Deeping beat Skegness
An unsuccessful appeal this time as Market Deeping beat Skegness

Market Deeping face giant-killers King’s Keys in the Stamford KO Shield at Barnack CC tonight (July 13, 6pm).

The Peterborough-based King’s Keys side have a reputation for toppling the big names having already dumped Burghley Park and Nassington from the competition, but they might have to improve again to beat Lincs Premier side Market Deeping in tonight’s (Monday) final.

Deeping are returning to the scene of the crime as they lost the Jaidka Cup Final on the same ground last month after an horrific batting collapse against Nassington.

But Deeping will expect the likes of Patrick Brown, Emile Kriek and Jamie Morgan to have too much class for King’s Keys.
