There have been more ins and outs at Stamford AFC this week with Andy Hall and Cameron Powell the latest players to leave the club.

Hall joined Stamford this summer from the Kettering Town squad that romped to the Evo-Stik Southern League Division One Central title last season.

The 29-year-old winger looked at home a league higher with Stamford, acting as a play maker for the Daniels and providing expert set-piece deliveries.

Hall has joined AFC Rushden & Diamonds who also play in the Southern League Division One having won promotion from the UCL Premier Division last season.

Hall made his debut for Diamonds off the bench on Saturday in their 3-2 win over Potters Bar Town.

The ex-Stamford midfielder had a dream debut, earning the man of the match award for his 26 minute cameo which changed the game.

Hall directly set-up two goals to win the match for Rushden & Diamonds, playing a one two to put Tom Lorraine in to score and then crossing for Dan Quigley to head goalwards - his effort was tipped onto the bar but Lorraine fired home the rebound.

Central midfielder Cameron Powell has swapped Stamford for fellow Evo-Stik NPL side Barwell Town.

He started in Barwell’s 1-0 loss away at Hyde United on Saturday.

Joining the Daniels is central defender Brad Gascoigne who signed from league rivals Buxton in time to make his debut for Stamford on Saturday in their 1-0 victory away at Matlock Town.

Gascoigne actually scored against the Stamford back in September in Buxton’s 4-2 win.
