Midweek football results (October 13)

Blackstones beat Bourne Town to advance in the Lincs County Senior Trophy last night (October 13) winning 2-1 away at the Abbey Lawn.

Dan Evans opened the scoring for Blackstones after 43 minutes but their lead was short lived.

Bourne equalised just two minutes later on the stroke of half time through Jake Mason.

The game looked like it was going to be decided by penalties but Matt Simpson scored for Blackstones in the last minute to send them through to the next round of the cup.

In other games around the area Deeping Rangers beat Yaxley 4-2 in the UCL Premier and Stamford AFC drew 1-1 at home to Ilkeston FC in the Evo-Stik NPL.
